Gestional Diabetes some times develops when a woman is pregnant. Its when the blood glucose level of the mother goes to high during pregnancy.
Gestional Diabetes Symptoms
Gestional diabetes develops when your body isnt able to produce enough of the hormone insullin during pregnancy. Insullin necessary to transport glucose what your body uses for enegry-into the cells. Without enough insullin you can build up too much glucose in your blood, leading to a higher-than-normal blood glucose level and perhaps gestional diabetes.
The elevated blood glucose level in gestational diabetes is cause by hormones released by the placenta during pregnancy. The placenta produces the hormone called the human placenta lactogen, also known as human chronic somatamamographic. its similar to growth hormone, but it actually modifiys the mother metabolisism and how she process carbohydrates and lipids. HPL raises the mother glucose level and makes her body less sensitive to insullin less able to use it properly. if the body doesnt use the insullin as it should the blood glucose level grows up. The HPL hormone elevates the blood glucose level so the baby gets enough nutrients from the extra glucose in the blood.
Its normal for women's blood glucose level go up a bit during pregnancy because of the extra hormones produced by the placenta, how ever some times the blood glucose level is elevated.

Exercise: When your exercise your body uses more glucose, so exercising can lower blood glucose level. Also when your exercise your body does'nt need as much insullin to transport the glucose your body becomes less insullin to transport the glucose. your body becomes less insullin resistant.
